Where to Watch the Euros on Your Stag Do Abroad

Euro.jpg

Here at Eventhuse we love and appreciate the beautiful game that is football, so with the 2016 Euros fast approaching we’ve put together a list of the best bars and pubs in each of our fabulous destinations where you and the lads can enjoy the match.

Ayia Napa

→ Bar: Liquid Café
It’s not a traditional sports bar as such, but the major advantage of watching the match in this hip little hangout is the copious amounts of gorgeous women who will be in there with you. The cocktail list is exotic, the food is to die for and the beers are cheap and ice cold.   There are plenty of big screen TV’s dotted around the bar so you’ll be sure to get a good view of your team scoring the winning goal!

→ Featured Activity: Water Football
It gets very, very hot in Ayia Napa in the peak summer months so why not cool off with your stag group and indulge in some Water Football. Not only will this awesome activity keep you cool, it’s also a great way to ease yourselves into the Euros spirit for the match later.

Bucharest

→ Bar: Halftime
Halftime bar in the historic centre of Bucharest (AKA, the coolest area for vibrant nightlife) has been THE go-to place for a lively football atmosphere since it opened in 2008. Regular supporters are famous the city over for being almost as loud and vocal as the supporters at the actual stadium so you’ll be in great company here if you plan catch your favourite team playing during your stag do in Bucharest.  Playing all of the important international matches, the pub is decked out in a typical Sports Pub feel so you’ll feel right at home, the welcome big groups of lads with open arms and with beer this cheap you’ll be a couple of rounds in before they even call Half-Time!!

→ Featured Activity: Autocross
Get the adrenalin pumping before the big match with a round of Autocross with your boys! Jump in the professional VW Golf GTI’s and BMW E26’s and make your friends eat your dirt as you whizz past them on the race track. This activity will psych up even the most avid speed junkie, and get you rand the lads in the mood for some serious heckling at the pub later for the real competition – the Euro match!

Budapest

→ Bar: Champs Sports Pub
Located in a conveniently central position close to the Great Synagogue, Champs Sports Pub is a hallowed hall of all things football related making it the perfect place to watch the Euros while on your stag do in Budapest. It’s not just the dedication to showing every match that makes this place an instant hit – it also has delicious food and a great atmosphere.

→ Featured Activity: Bubble Football
What better way to get in the mood for the upcoming match, than by inserting yourself into a life size inflatable bubble and then running around the pitch for an hour trying to play football. While some die hard football fans may not see the funny side of this alternative version of the beautiful game, we can promise you’ll be in stiches within minutes.

Bubble Football

Krakow

→ Bar: English Football Club
The English Football Club in central Krakow pretty much does exactly what it says on the tin. The space has a total of four large screen TV’s, and ample space for around 120 supporters to cheer on their team as they guzzle cheap beer. Men who come to the pub with female company get discounts and cocktail promotions, so grab some ladies before you go!!

→ Featured Activity: River Rafting
White water rafting is all about team work which is perfect for a stag do activity. You’ll need all members of your stag team to work together to navigate your way around the rapids of the 350m man-made Olympic course on the River Vistula. And after all that heavy duty rowing and steering, you’ll deserve a sit down with a cold pint to watch your favourite team kill it in the Euros.

Prague

→ Bar: Rocky O’Reillys
You can pretty much guarantee you are in good hands when it comes to Irish pubs. And although our neighbours over on the Emerald Isle may not be great at football, they are top notch at warm welcome pub hospitality and excellent drinks. This central little taste of Ireland has a huge projection screen for all the live sports matches and the place has become particularly popular amongst big groups, stag and hen parties who are looking for a place to cheer on their teams. The food is pretty darn good too and the atmosphere and service is touted as the best in town.

→ Featured Activity: Quad Biking
Let your inner speed demons come out to play in Prague with a session of hard core quad biking. This stag activity is not for the faint hearted and is a brilliant way to get yourself hyped before the big match.
