So, 2016 may not have been a great year in a lot of ways, but for Stag group’s everywhere, this past year, was one of the best yet, with more and more group’s choosing to make a real event of their last nights of singlehood, and travelling abroad to far flung destinations to celebrate in style.

Now, as we enter the new year, Eventhuse is looking forward to the 2017 stag calendar with anticipation, and particularly the new destinations that will emerge as the year progresses. Just to give you a head start, here are our predictions for the most popular stag destinations of 2017.

Ayia Napa

While Ibiza may have been the party capital of the 2000’s, Ayia Napa is making a major come back as a more low-budget destination for stag groups looking to party hard without dishing out too much of their hard-earned cash. The clubs don’t cost an arm and a leg to get into and all the pubs on the strip offer amazing drinks deals with free shots flowing all night long. In 2016, the beaches of Cyprus were voted the best and the cleanest in Europe and with Ayia Napa boasting the best beaches on the island, Eventhuse is expecting the little Mediterranean haven to boom this coming year.

Bratislava

This one is the one to seriously watch. The capital of Slovakia is about to explode onto the stag scene and we are ready and waiting for when it does. The destination has some of the lowest prices in beer, food and going out, and the city offers a great range of options for stag groups of all different tastes and styles. Not only that but just outside of the city, there are some of the most interesting and unique action packed activities for stag groups looking for adventure and adrenalin.

Budapest

Budapest has always been a popular tourism destination thanks to its rich cultural and historical offerings. More recently, the destination has also begun to reveal its quirkier, hip and youthful side, with unique ‘Ruin Bars’ housed in abandoned buildings helping to push the increasingly vibrant nightlife scene, and rival even the most famous of the eastern European party destinations with extremely budget friendly prices. And let’s not forget the stunning local women who make a stag trip to Budapest all the more fun and aesthetically pleasing!

Krakow

For the stag groups looking to combine cultural pursuits with world-class nightlife, head to the emerging stag destination of Krakow, where there are more pubs and bars than any other city in Europe and the streets are lined with beautiful, historical buildings, museums and art galleries that will leave even the most culture hungry stag groups mentally and intellectually stimulated. The city was recently the European capital of culture and the cobbled streets of the old town make the perfect base for urban exploration.

Prague

Ok, Ok, Ok, so Prague can hardly be classified as an EMERGING stag destination, with the Czech capital being voted the most popular stag destination of 2016, but here at Eventhuse, we predict that the stunning city will continue to grow in popularity in 2017. I mean, what’s not to love about the beautiful city of spires, bridges, mouth-wateringly good beer, absolutely gorgeous, fun-loving women, awesome night life, ridiculously good prices and strip clubs at the end of every street (well, almost!). Prague is popular for a good reason and we don’t see that popularity fading with the arrival of a new year!
